Explore ghost stories, paranormal accounts, and depictions of otherworldly spirits found in the library's Special Collections. One of the highlights is the Bakemono no e from 1764. Often referred to as "The Ghost Scroll" it features 35 hand painted images of supernatural creatures. This is a rare opportunity to see these rare items up close.
