Alongside exciting features by Panoramic Steel and Gamelan Bintang Wahyu, this concert presents the world premiere of a stunning new intercontinental collaboration: DEWI SRI, with music by Nyoman Windha and choreography by Gusti Warsiki. This collaboration enlists BYU’s steel pan and gamelan ensembles, along with a troupe of dancers, in a spectacular Balinese reimagining of Utah’s “crickets and seagulls” story.
