Kimberly Matheson will deliver this Wonder of Scripture lecture. She is the Laura F. Willes Research Fellow at the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship at Brigham Young University, where she focuses on Book of Mormon theology, Christian contemplative practice, and the continental philosophy of religion. Matheson is known for authoring Helaman: A Brief Theological Introduction and for her service on the boards of the Book of Mormon Studies Association and the Latter-day Saint Theology Seminar. The Wonder of Scripture series, sponsored by BYU’s Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, invites speakers from diverse backgrounds to explore how sacred texts shape understanding, inspire wonder, and inform meaningful lives.
